GENEVA — Geneva Education Association (GEA) and community members will picket Monday, Nov. 12 ahead of District 304’s board of education (BOE) meeting. Members and parents plan to address the board during public comment, and are asking the board to hear their concerns in full.
CARY — The Cary Education Association (CEA) last night voted down the latest tentative agreement proposed by the Cary Community Consolidated School District 26. The vote comes after tense negotiation sessions with District 26. The two sides have been bargaining since March. The CEA has been working without a contract since Aug. 19.
